Low level laser treatment
Low Level Laser therapy (LLLT) also known as PhotoBioModulation is a form of physiotherapy treatment that applies low-level lasers or light-emitting diodes to the surface of or in orifices of the body. Low level laser therapy equipment delivers the range of required light energy density with negligible thermal effect.
Medical uses
Various LLLT devices have been promoted for use in treatment of several musculoskeletal conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. They have also been promoted for temporomandibular joint disorders, wound healing and infection.
